Mint & Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:

1/2 cup of softened butter
1cup of white sugar
3 cups of flour
1/2 cup of cocoa
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
90grs of Bon Ami Bittersweet Chocolate Coating cut into pieces.
1/4 of butter

RECIPE PREPARATION:

  • Beat 1/2 cup butter in large bowl until creamy look . Add the sugar and continue beating until well mezlcada . It incorporates an egg and peppermint extract .
  • Sift the flour , cocoa and salt. Add half of this powder to the bowl with butter mixture and incorporate the rest.
  • Divide the dough in half and spread it on a lightly floured flat surface to form two tubes of 3.5 cm in diameter. Wrap each tube in waxed paper and refrigerate for 5 hours.

  • Remove the tube from the freezer and rebánalo a very sharp knife , 1/2 cm thick . Arrange them on baking sheets ( chaffers ) spaced 3.5 cm apart , bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Melt in a double boiler or in the microwave , 1/4 cup butter and the Bon Ami Bittersweet Chocolate Coating , sprayed onto the warm cookies. Place the cookies on a wire grid to cool and harden completely .
  • Decorate with Bon Ami White Coating.
